Discover how satellite technology is guiding the fight against the climate crisis in our Our World from Space workshops.
This project is being delivered as part of a national campaign led by the Association of Science and Discovery Centres with funding from the UK Space Agency and the National Environmental Research Council.
Please note that this outreach will require a classroom setup.
Aims:
- To learn about satellites with environmental missions, find out where they are in relation to Earth, and explore how the data they collect can be used to solve problems here on Earth.

- Age: P5-P7, S1-S2
- Geographical: Dundee, Angus, Fife, Perth & Kinross (within 25 miles of DSC)
- SIMD: Deciles 1 to 6
- UR6: Zones 3 to 6
- Cost: FULLY FUNDED for criteria above, however, may be able to offer fully funded outreach for schools outside this criteria – please contact us for more details.
