What are your opening hours?
Dundee Science Centre is open daily from 10am until 4pm. Our recommended last entry time is 1:30pm.
Is there parking available?
We have two street-level onsite car parks. They are operated by Dundee City Council, and parking is charged at standard city centre rates; please see the Dundee City Council website for further information.
Is there food and drink available?
Café Create is open from 9am-4pm daily, serving hot and cold drinks, food, and snacks. Visitors are also more than welcome to bring their own picnics or packed lunches to eat onsite.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Free guest Wi-Fi is available throughout the Centre.
Can I purchase tickets at reception?
Although we strongly recommend that you pre-book your tickets before arriving at Dundee Science Centre to guarantee a space, you can purchase tickets at reception. Please be aware that during busy periods – especially weekends and school holidays – you may not be able to enter without a booking if we have reached our capacity limit.
Can I cancel my booking?
If you are unable to attend your visit to the science centre, please contact staff@dundeesciencecentre.org.uk at least 48 hours prior to your visit. We will gladly reschedule your visit to a date and time that suits you best. You can also cancel or amend your tickets via your booking confirmation email.
Can my children visit on their own?
All children under 16 must be adequately supervised and accompanied at all times by a paying adult.
Are dogs allowed in the Science Centre?
Registered assistance dogs are welcome; however, pets are not allowed inside.
Is the site wheelchair accessible?
Dundee Science Centre is fully level-access, with a lift available between the ground and first floors. Our exhibitions have been designed with wheelchair users in mind, and all areas can be accessed by manual and electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters. We are also proud to have a Changing Places bathroom on-site.
