INTERSECTIONS 2026 to Bring Science and Music Together at Dundee Science Centre

An extraordinary fusion of research, creativity and live performance is set to take place in Dundee this spring as INTERSECTIONS 2026 arrives at the Dundee Science Centre on Wednesday 6 May 2026.

Presented in partnership with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, the innovative event brings composers and academic researchers together to transform cutting-edge ideas into brand-new music, performed live by an exceptional ensemble of musicians.

This year’s collaborations explore a wide range of themes, including AI Trust, AI in Game Development, Dance & Film, Business & Finance, Dark Matter, Biology, Cultural Heritage, and Bio-acoustics. Each partnership has resulted in original compositions shaped by live research collaboration, creating works that cannot be heard anywhere else.
