An Interactive Space Themed Trail Has Launched in Dundee!

Dundee Science Centre has launched a brand new trail that brings the scale of our solar system to life!

The Solar System Trail features nine interactive signs installed across Dundee city, with each location representing either the Sun or one of the eight planets.

Beginning at Dundee Science Centre, which represents the Sun, the trail stretches towards Seabraes Bridge, continues along Perth Road and Reform Street, and finishes at The Law. The distance between each sign has been carefully scaled to reflect the relative distances between the planets in our solar system, allowing visitors to experience the vastness of space as they explore the city.

Each sign features a QR code that links to the Dundee Science Centre website, where visitors can discover fascinating facts about the Sun and each planet.

The trail also includes a weekly competition, with participants invited to photograph any of the signs and share their images on social media by tagging Dundee Science Centre for the chance to win free entry tickets.
