Dundee Science Festival launches with a buzz as schools week gets underway
Dundee Science Festival is officially up and running, kicking off with an exclusive schools week at Dundee Science Centre.
Throughout the week, hundreds of pupils from across the region are set to visit the Centre to explore hands-on exhibitions and take part in a wide range of interactive learning experiences.
School groups are getting stuck into science through engaging activities and live demonstrations as organisations showcase their work throughout the Centre! A wide variety of exhibitions can be found stationed around the Centre, from Defending Scotland’s Heritage with Historic Environment Scotland to a fantastic Camouflage Testing Video Game available to play with Abertay University.
Schools week marks the start of Dundee Science Festival and sets the tone for what promises to be an inspiring and engaging programme for audiences of all ages.
The festival opens to the public on Saturday 7 February, inviting families, science fans and curious minds to enjoy two weeks packed with exciting exhibitions, activities and events. With plenty to see and do, visitors can expect science brought to life in fun, accessible, and memorable ways.
