Civil Eningeers: Engineering our World
Take part in hands-on STEM activities from the Civil Engineering department at the University of Dundee:
Clean Water – Learn about how Civil Engineers help deliver clean water and how water treatment plants work. Build your own water filter and test it to see how well it performs!
Renewable Energy – Offshore wind turbines (wind farms) generate clean, renewable energy. Have you ever wondered how they survive the wind and storms in the North Sea, or how the electricity they generate is brought to shore? Find out by building your own mini wind turbine foundations and energy cables!
