Camouflage Testing Video Game
Shoot aliens for science! This prototype uses the same camouflage techniques that are used by animals in the wild to hide from predators. In order to better understand how humans perceive deceptive visual patterns, we are studying how easily different types of patterns can be spotted. We will take what we learn from this and use it to try and make better video games.
This work is part of a project on widening access to competitive video games for blind and partially sighted people, and is supported by the Royal National Institute of Blind People.
