Earth is our home planet! It’s the only planet we know of that has life on it. It’s a big ball of rock and water that floats in space, and it’s just the right distance from the Sun to be not too hot and not too cold. That’s why we have air to breathe, water to drink, and all the things we need to live.

Fun Facts:

• Blue and Green Planet: When you look at pictures of Earth from space, it looks blue and green. The blue part is the oceans, which cover about 70% of the planet. The green parts are the land, which is where plants and trees grow.
• Different Landscapes: Earth has all sorts of different landscapes, like mountains, forests, deserts, and even huge cities where lots of people live.
• The Only Home for Humans: Earth is the only planet we know of where humans and animals can live. It’s just right for us!
• Our Moon’s Buddy: Earth has a special friend in space – the Moon! It’s not a planet, but a big rock that goes around our Earth. You can sometimes see it in the night sky.
• Four Seasons: Earth has four seasons – spring, summer, autumn (fall), and winter. Each season brings different weather, like warm sun in summer and cold snow in winter.

• Named After a Goddess: Earth is named after a goddess from ancient mythology. She was the goddess of the Earth and nature.
