Learning Lab, Powering The Future - Exploring the future of energy

Learning Lab is a FREE programme for schools located within Dundee, Angus, Fife, or Perth & Kinross (P5-P7, S1-S2). Places are strictly limited and are on a first come first serve basis – we are expecting large demand for this programme, thus if you or your school are interested please leave your details below without delay!

Aligned with CfE experiences and outcomes, Learning Lab supports teachers to deliver amazing science in the classroom. With a suggested teaching time of 2 hours per week, this 8-week programme for P5–P7 or 4-week programme for S1-S2 comprises:

• Lesson plans and worksheets
• Original video content
• Live interactions with scientists/industry professionals
• Professional learning session
• Family learning activities
• A FREE Dundee Science Centre visit

Through exciting practical activities, pupils will discover renewable technologies and see that they have the skills needed for a future in the energy industry. Protect a melting ice cube, run a hydrogen relay race, and meet an expert from the energy industry!
