We’re delighted to welcome staff from NHS Scotland/Ninewells Hospital to Dundee Science Centre, where they will showcase their work and engage directly with young learners. This is a fantastic opportunity for pupils to discover the exciting world of health care science and learn about real careers that help people every day.

This event forms part of our Edina Programme, offering an inspiring and fully supported experience for schools.

What’s included in the Edina Programme?

  • A fully funded outreach workshop delivered in your school (Healthy Body Bits)
  • Up to 100% transport funding available to support your visit

Healthy Body Bits Workshop

During the outreach session, pupils will take part in our interactive Healthy Body Bits workshop, featuring Stuffee – a giant ragdoll with removable organs.

Using Stuffee, learners will:

  • Explore the body’s major organs
  • Understand what each organ does
  • Learn how to keep their bodies healthy
