 Back News - - 1 minute read.
British Science Week is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering, and maths taking place 6 – 15 March — and here at Dundee Science Centre, we’re inviting visitors of all ages to get curious, get hands-on, and get inspired!

Throughout the week, we’ll be hosting a range of small but exciting activities designed to spark imagination and encourage exploration during your visit. Read more about what we’ll have on offer!

🗺️Curiosity Trail

Pick up a trail card at reception and set off on a journey through our exhibition zones!

Each card features four science-themed questions connected to different areas of the centre. Can you discover the answers as you explore?

Once you’ve completed your trail, return your card to reception to receive a special treat for taking part!

💭 Curiosity Wall

What’s the one science question you’ve always wondered about?

Visit our Curiosity Wall and write down your number one science question for others to see. It’s a chance to share the things that fascinate us, puzzle us, and make us want to learn more about the world around us.

Who knows – your question might inspire someone else!

⚡ Curiosity Station

Get hands-on at our Curiosity Station, where visitors can explore big ideas through interactive demonstrations and engaging activities.

You’ll have the opportunity to investigate questions such as:

  • How do we get electricity from one place to another?
  • Why do we need energy?
  • What can we learn from observing creatures?
  • Could we live in space?

Our team will be on hand to guide discussions, demonstrate experiments, and help bring these fascinating topics to life.
