What does a birthday party include?
A birthday party at Dundee Science Centre is 1.5 hours. It consists of a 30-minute workshop; approximately 30 minutes to explore our exhibition with one of our Science Communicators; and approximately 30 minutes for party food.
- We will supply party food – see below for further information.
- You can book this for 10 am, 12:30 pm, or 3:00 pm.
- Our birthday party workshop themes are: Epic Eruptions, Soapy Science, Dino Discoveries, and Space Crafts.
Prices
The price for our parties is £13.95 per child
On top of all the wonderful things that you can expect from your party, we have a range of added extras to enhance your special day even more!
Extras include:
- Party Bags (£3 per child).
- Ice Cream Pots (£2 per child).
Party food
Our party food consists of:
- Cheese sandwiches
- Ham sandwiches
- Mini sausage rolls
- Fruit kebabs
- Crisps
- Biscuits
- Popcorn
- Juice.
We can also supply ice cream at an additional £2 per child.
We do not provide a birthday cake.
If any partygoers have dietary requirements, please let us know as soon as possible and in most cases we will be able to cater for this. We can also cater parties to be fully vegan, vegetarian, etc.
Our food is prepared in our café, and we are careful about cross-contamination. However, we cannot guarantee our food is completely allergen-free. If there is a partygoer with severe or complex allergies, they are more than welcome to bring their own food.
Terms and Conditions
- The minimum number of children in each session is 10, and the maximum number is 20.
- All workshops involve hands-on activities; therefore, adults attending the parties must be prepared to assist children as required. A minimum of two adults per party is required, and a maximum of four is allowed.
- The party must be paid in full at the time of booking.
