Pigeon Walk – Wonders of Urban Birdwatching

Discover the iridescent beauty of city pigeons, our familiar yet overlooked neighbours, and see how they open a window into urban nature. Walk with us to explore the surprising variety in pigeon plumage and see the city through the lens of its wildlife, revealing stories of survival and adaptation.
Prefer to go at your own pace? Pick up a self-guided map from Dundee Science Centre and explore when it suits you.
Help shape the Columbidae Codex, a research initiative led by Abertay University in collaboration with RSPB Scotland that explores innovative ways to connect people with citizen science and nature.
Share your shining moments with #PigeonWalkDundee, but remember to keep a respectful distance and let the birds behave naturally.
