Dundee Science Centre is joining forces with The Archie Foundation this November to celebrate 25 years of supporting children, families, and the wider community.
Designed to raise awareness of The Archie Foundation’s vital work supporting children and families in hospital, the two-day event will take place on Thursday, 13th, and Friday, 14th November, 10 am – 4 pm.
Visitors can expect all the regular hands-on Science Centre experiences, alongside special interactive zones and activities, including the Teddy Bear Hospital, where children can bring their favourite teddy for a ‘check-up’ with healthcare professionals and meet Archie, the Foundation’s very own teddy bear mascot.
The Teddy Tombola will give visitors the chance to win cuddly prizes. Children and families can also get creative by designing their very own Worry Monster, a fun and imaginative way to explore feelings and wellbeing.
Visitors can enjoy the event while making a meaningful contribution to the charity, as 10% of each standard ticket price will be donated directly to the Foundation’s work in Tayside!
Celebrating 25 years of Care and Curiosity
Since 2000, The Archie Foundation has been a vital source of support for babies, children, and families across the north of Scotland. As the official charity partner of Tayside Children’s Hospital, Archie funds specialist equipment, family accommodation, and emotional support to help children through challenging times.
That same year, Dundee Science Centre opened its doors, igniting curiosity and a love of learning in thousands of visitors annually. Through interactive exhibits, educational programmes, and community outreach, the Centre continues to inspire minds of all ages.
Now, as both organisations mark 25 years of making a difference, we invite you to celebrate with us – 25 years of care and curiosity!
