Dundee Science Centre and Xplore Dundee partner to offer families the chance to WIN a free day out!
Families travelling on Xplore Dundee services this summer could strike gold — with free family tickets to Dundee Science Centre hidden on board select buses throughout August.
The Golden Ticket Giveaway is the result of a new partnership between Xplore Dundee and Dundee Science Centre, aiming to bring a sense of fun and discovery to journeys across the city — and from further afield.
From now until the end of August, golden tickets will be hidden each week aboard two of Xplore Dundee’s flagship services:
- The Discover Dundee open-top tour bus, which runs Wednesday to Sunday, 10am–5pm, showcasing the best of the city from the waterfront to Dundee Law.
- The Fly coach service, connecting Edinburgh Airport to Dundee city centre 24 hours a day — a fast and comfortable option for arrivals and departures.
Lucky passengers who find a golden ticket will receive free family entry to Dundee Science Centre, unlocking a day of hands-on exhibits and FUN for all ages!

Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult when visiting Dundee Science Centre.
- The giveaway is open to all passengers who find a valid golden ticket on participating Xplore Dundee services.
Ticket Use
- Each golden ticket includes a single-use, unique code printed on the back. This code must be redeemed at checkout when booking your visit to Dundee Science Centre.
- Each ticket is valued at £25, which covers general admission for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children).
- Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
Expiry Date
- All tickets are valid until 30th September 2025 and must be redeemed before this date. Expired tickets will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Redemption Process
- To redeem your ticket, please visit the Dundee Science Centre website and enter your unique code during the booking process at checkout.
Lost or Damaged Tickets
- Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets will not be replaced. Keep your ticket safe and legible to ensure it can be redeemed.
