With a great choice of themes, there is something for everyone to make that special day all the more memorable. Our Parties include time to explore our hands-on exhibition, a 30 minute themed workshop, and a selection of party foods.
Birthday Party Themes
Activity Name: Space Crafts
Do you have a budding astronaut at home? Get ready to launch yourself into a craft party that is out of this world.
Recommended for ages 4+
Activity Name: Dino-Discoveries
Let your imagination run wild with this roarsome Dinosaur Party. Journey through a prehistoric paradise as you study dinosaur footprints and create dinosaur fossils to discover the mysteries surrounding these Jurassic giants.
Recommended for ages 4+
Activity Name: Soapy Science
Put some magic and sparkle into your birthday experience as you learn the hands-on craft of soap-making. Give your party-goers the chance to make their own bath fizzer and smelly soaps to take home.
Recommended for ages 6+
Activity Name: Epic Eruptions
Get ready for a fun-filled kitchen chemistry experience. Take part in amazing science experiment where you will build and erupt your own volcanoes.

The price for our parties is £11.95 per child
On top of all the wonderful things that you can expect from your party, we have a range of added extras to enhance your special day even more!
Extras include:
- Party Bags (£2 per child).
- Ice Cream Pots (£1.50 per child).
How to Book
To request a Birthday Party online you will need to complete the following Birthday Party Request form. A member of our team will then be in touch to confirm availability for your requested date and to arrange for a deposit to be made.
If you would like a bespoke birthday party which differs from the themes or T&Cs described above, please contact staff@dundeesciencecentre.org.uk to enquire about availability.
Terms and Conditions
The minimum number of children in each session is 10 and the maximum number is 20.
All workshops involve hands-on activities therefore adults attending the parties must be prepared to assist children as required. A minimum of two adults per party is required. The first four adults attend the party free, after that each subsequent adult must pay £6 admission charge.
A £50 deposit will need to be paid to secure your booking.
