Sensory Friendly Hours
We regularly dimming the lights and lowering the volume so that all of our visitors, including those with sensory processing differences, can enjoy our exhibitions in a more relaxed environment. With large crowds and loud noises, Dundee Science Centre might be overwhelming at times so we will be turning off our tannoys and reducing bright lights so our visitors can benefit from a visit without the hustle and bustle.
Centre maps will be distributed and our Sensory Backpacks will be available to borrow, which includes ear defenders and fidget toys for those who may need it. Our auditorium will be turned into a quiet zone where people can chill out and take a break. The Pamiloo by Pamis will also be on-site to provide a Changing Places toilet for our visitors who require more accessible toilet facilities and special equipment.
Prices are standard admission. Assisted needs rates are discounted and carers will be free of charge whilst accompanying paying assisted needs tickets.
