Dundee Science Centre is able to offer our Engineering For The Future outreach workshop to primary schools, with our Science Communicator team coming to your school to deliver this educational session about Engineering.
Engineering for the Future explores challenges within the Scottish engineering sector. It aims to develop curiosity within STEM from a young age by highlighting how engineering affects our lives and the local area. Engineering for the Future includes themes of sustainability, electrical engineering, construction and renewable energy & storage.
Please note that this outreach will require a private room/hall big enough to accommodate up to 30 children sat at 3 separate tables. We will also require close parking and step free access into the space to allow our team to safely transport our outreach kit. If on arrival our staff deem the area not to be suitable to deliver the workshop, we may have to rearrange for a more suitable location.
Engineering For The Future is suitable for P1-P7 pupils. We have developed two workshops around the same theme so that this topic can be delivered to all primary aged children. Our L1 workshop is suitable for P1-P4 children and L2 workshop is suitable for P5-P7 children.
