Are you (or your child!) dreaming of a white Christmas? That dream has become a reality in Dundee, with the chance to make your own snow!
During each weekend until Christmas, Dundee Science Centre will ‘Let it Snow’, with snowy workshops and festive ‘make and take’ sessions within the winter wonderland grotto.
Visitors can also take photos with resident snowman, Fros-Tay!
‘Let it Snow’ will run on 7/8, 14/15 and 21/22 December, with dedicated member events on 23rd with public workshops taking place in the afternoon and on 24 December. As well as learning how to make snow and learning how snow forms in real life, visitors will enjoy making Christmas decorations and bird-friendly reindeer feed.
Sam Wallace, Operations Manager said, “In the absence of the real thing – for now anyway! – we’re inviting visitors in to make their own snow and lots of decorations to take home, as well as some bird-friendly reindeer food to scatter in preparation for Santa’s arrival. We’ll also be talking through the science of snow and rainbows, a seasonal treat!
