As this year’s Festival is happening alongside the COP26 Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, we wanted to take the opportunity in this year Festival theme to celebrate ‘What a Wonderful World!' we call home.
We hope our vibrant programme of events will inspire people of all ages to discover and explore science. Our digital offering consists of 35 free, online events, workshops and games including a live, behind-the-scenes sneak peek of COP26 in Glasgow with Rebecca Wade of Abertay University and a Live Q&A with a climate scientist.
Visitors can also take control of a real robotic rover complete with cameras during a Mission to Mars workshop, create and play their own video game, take part in an Astronomy Scavenger Hunt or a Learn to Code all from the comfort of their own homes!
Feel free to come down to Dundee Science Centre during the Festival period to explore our brand new additions to the centre. Explore our incredible Weather Chalk Walk featuring colourful weather-themed artwork and become a weather forecaster for the day. Head inside to enjoy a range of add-on exhibits and activities as well as seeing Moby, a whale sculpture made entirely of recycled materials.
