Flower Pressing

Part of Summer Holiday Programme

Have a go at pressing some flowers - you may have them in your garden that would be suitable. Leaves are lovely too.

Follow the instructions from the Natural History Museum, and then when they are dried, you can make cards and pictures.

See our Pressed Flower Pictures activity sheet for instructions.

We did some at the start of lockdown and we made a lovely card (see Spring Week and Earth Week).

Have a look at the Woodland Trusts' Woodland Wildflowers information for some inspiration.

To ensure that there are plenty of bees and butterflies check out the Wildlife Watch's Grow A Bee and Butterfly Garden and How To Grow A Wild Patch suggestions.
