Facilities and Access for All (FAQ)

Find out about how we make our centre accessible for all.

Do you have facilities for wheelchair users and babies?

Our disabled toilet and baby changing facilities are located at the rear of the centre, next to our Infusion Coffee Shop.

Both facilities have toilets within, both of which are gender neutral and suitable for all.

Do you have wheelchairs for hire?

We have a wheelchair within the centre that visitors can use throughout their visit, with no charge. You can call up before your visit to speak to a member of staff who can arrange this before you arrive.

Do you offer carer tickets?

Carers of disabled visitors are admitted free of charge (one carer per disabled visitor, including when the disabled visitor is 4 or under); a reduced admission fee applies to the disabled visitor.

Please bring along a carer’s badge or a form of ID to help us process your admission on arrival.

How accessible is the centre?

Dundee Science Centre has accessible entrances and automated doors; accessible toilet facilities; access to all floors via lift; parking spaces by the entrance and welcomes guide dogs.
