The Flow Country

This Exhibition is all about the peatlands of the Flow Country, which runs through Caithness and Sutherland in the far north of Scotland and is the best blanket bog of its type in the world. Currently under consideration for inscription as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this landscape is of international importance for biodiversity.

A place of epic landscapes with beautiful details, from soaring hen harriers to insectivorous plants, the Flow County is also of key significance in Britain's efforts to mitigate climate change.

Available in Dundee Science Centre until the 6th January 2019, come along to immerse yourself in a wonderful exhibition full of fun learning opportunities for the whole family.
